New Work: 2026
2026 marks the beginning of new work that builds on ideas explored in my previous series. Building from the abstract explorations in Folded Fabrics and the framed moments of observation found in CRUSHED – Sky Snippets, together, they capture fragments of everyday life where realism meets abstraction. Through layered textures, reclaimed materials, and carefully composed views, these pieces expand on familiar themes while moving my practice in a new direction.

Folded Fabrics
This body of work is comprised of t-shirts that have been starched, sculpted (some sculpted three dimensionally), painted, and coated in resin.

CRUSHED - The Can Collections
Acrylic Paintings on cans that were run over and found in streets, parking lots, sidewalks, dirt, etc. The work serves as an exploration of texture, pattern, and sustainability. Playing with the possibility of using these scrapped items as canvasses for contemporary painting.

Garden Ghosts
Hand embroidered series. Studying the imaginary lives of ghosts and their gardens

Monster Skateboards
This series consists of acrylic paintings on broken skateboards. The break in the board created the opportunity for these gnarly teeth that inspired this body of work.

Misc. Paintings and Collage
A collection of earlier work. A combination of paintings on found surfaces and collage.
